VXP Manager – System Status Window
VXP Manager is the nerve center of the VXP system. It allows administrators to manage users, documents and overall workflow, and enables complete customization of the workflow and user interactivity. VXP Manager may be distributed to as many client systems as desired and, based on permissions, allows individuals in remote locations to view and affect system activity and performance. The user interface provides user-friendly functionality and keyboard shortcuts to maximize productivity and efficiency. Powerful document searches and on-the-fly document queuing allow documents to be easily searched by a combination of demographic values and queued to an available transcriptionist. Available at-a-glance, the system statistics and dynamic port display allow vital document, user and system information to be clearly displayed.

VXP offers unparalleled customization capabilities. VXP provides a customized and extremely powerful macro scripting language, which gives it the most flexibility of any dictation solution on the market today. Simply stated, it adheres to your workflow. Off the shelf, VXP is capable of customizing user settings such as field defaults, routing behavior and login security. It can be configured to emulate any of your existing dictation input options. Because of this highly scalable and customizable resource, VXP is capable of adapting to unusual workflow requirements, end-user functionality and system emulation. It even supports robust uploading and offloading to support outsourcing requirements.
VXP Player
VXP delivers efficient and accessible transcription options. VXP Player is a PC-based, Web-enabled application that delivers both voice and demographics data to a transcriptionist workstation. Because VXP documents can be delivered anywhere in the world via the Internet, transcription can be accomplished anywhere, anytime. And since VXP employs TCP/IP transmissions, the security of your documents is further protected from compromise. Furthermore, the use of an ISP for delivery promises a low-cost alternative to historically expensive long-distance phone bills. As an added benefit, Player is integrated into Microsoft® Word through the use of templates to better facilitate transcription. And if an adequate network connection is not available to transcriptionists, VXP also provides telephony-based stations, which utilize phone lines to communicate vital information to transcriptionists. Overall, VXP Player provides for the unlimited dispersion of transcription resources.
